Music Publishing

Randall began his study of songwriting and publishing while still in high school signing his first compositions to Attieram Publishing. Learning some lessons from Atlanta music mentors Cotton Carrier and Bill Lowery of Lowery Music Group, who also signed some of his material, he soon created his own Peach Picked Publishing initially for his own songs.
Eventually, he began representing some of the biggest stars of bluegrass with his behind the scenes talents yielding awards for unpaid musical uses in films and on television for acts such as Flatt and Scruggs. He served as a consultant to publishing concerns owned by Jim and Jesse McReynolds and Bill Monroe.
Among his stable of catalog writers are IBMA Hall of Fame members Curly Seckler and Chubby Wise, Georgia Music Hall of Fame member Cotton Carrier, Dove nominee Mark Wheeler, and Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame members John Farley, James Watson and Eugene Akers.
Through his Randall Franks Music, he represents the extensive catalog of Katona Publishing Co. of Ramblin’ “Doc” Tommy Scott and around 20 writers his company represents. This catalog spans 70 years of standards, hits and unusual songs and tunes.
Randall does not actively seek new songs or writers, he manages his existing catalog providing songs for recordings, films and television.
